There’s a new creative hub forming in Strathcona

Project news

We are excited to share some of the businesses coming to the commercial space at Assembly, forming a new creative hub in Strathcona! As covered by the Strathcona BIA, Assembly’s 11 commercial spaces are designed to create an inspiring workspace for retail, office and creative industrial users in one of Vancouver’s oldest and most unique neighbourhoods rooted with a deep history in industry and creativity.

We are keen to announce the first three businesses joining this artistic community…

Welcome, Lover’s Tempo!

With a background in Art History and Fine Arts, Lover’s Tempo founder and designer, Elaine, is inspired by thoughtful design from various disciplines—from architecture to painting. Elaine sees jewelry as a game of millimeters.

A beautiful piece is a sum of all of its tiny parts. Her design principles are clean lines, a sophisticated colour palette, thoughtful textures with just the right amount of delicate detailing. Beyond jewelry, all of Lover’s Tempo creative is curated through Elaine’s artful eye. Every detail – from their photography to packaging—is designed with the goal of delighting anyone who comes across it.

Lover’s Tempo offers beautiful jewelry at accessible prices, so that everyday, and every occasion can feel a little romantic.

Why Assembly: “We wanted a space and community that reflected our creativity. We were longing for a place we could gather with other like-minded businesses”
