Back in 2015, our CEO & Founder Jordan MacDonald burned the ships and dove headfirst into real estate development. He was driven by a passion for delivering creative housing projects that would ensure people live a NOTBORING life. Armed with a bit of confidence, some amazing friends who believed in him and a few Sheckles he acquired the Hamilton Bank Building in East Vancouver’s Port Town district and got to work.
Fast forward to 2025, fabric has grown to a team of 12 including 4 partners out of its Mount Pleasant HQ (with its own speakeasy!), has completed / developing over 1,000 homes, 110,000 sf of commercial space with an aggregate project value of $850M.
Today, we’re proud – not just of the buildings that we’ve woven into the fabric of our favourite communities and the culture of the businesses and residents thriving inside them – but of our incredible team and supporters that made it all possible!
